Reading

I love reading. Getting drawn into a story is a relaxing yet exiting experience. Currently I try to read a mixture of classic and modern books. Some of my favorite books are The Count of Monte Cristo, Jane Eyre, American Gods, and Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. Every year I try to read at least fifty books in hopes of finding some new favorite books.

Hiking

Walking in nature with friends is one of my favorite ways to relax and go on adventures. My favorite hiking trails are at the ringing rocks park and the Delaware canal state park. Ringing rocks park has a rock pile in Pennsylvania that has the special characteristic of having rocks that ring like a bell when tapped by a hammer. This rock pile is pictured above.

Cooking and Baking

Food is a necessity in life, so why not make it as delicious as possible? At least that is my stance on food and my inspiration to learn more about cooking and baking. Also nothing tastes as good as a meal cooked by yourself. Pictured above are Italian rainbow cookies and chocolates that I made.

Crafting

Ever since childhood, I loved doing crafts. Even now I still love it and am constantly learning new crafting skills. In late 2019, I picked up embroidery and started making my own patterns.
